watch the video...

Would you or have you bought one already? uses 10% of energy of regular lightbulbs, 25 year guarantee, can be set to any color of the rainbow all with the control of your phone if you want, can be dimmed, can be synced to your phone to blink when you have mail on your phone etc?

I always thought regular LED lights were cold due to their whiteish color.

That is what they said about Compact fluorescent light bulbs, they seem to last as long as the old style bulbs.

seen a fairly cool shower head that was full of multi colour lights to make it look like you were showering in a rain bow.

For what it's worth, Mythbusters tested all the various types of bulbs and the LED bulbs lasted long, long, long after everything else had failed.

I seem to remember seeing on This Old House a project that used LED bulbs. They were $75 each.

I have a system called Hue, all the bulbs can be set independently of each other in whatever colour I choose from my cell phone.
Love it!

is that just a lightblub like the one above? or an actual system with special gadgets you need to use the bulb? i'm sure this buld has complex parts in it but it looks like a simple bulb and you dont need any other attachments

It came in a set of 3 "simple" bulbs which you just screw into a socket and a small box that hooks up to your router from which you can control the colour and intensity of each bulb. Made by Phillips called HUE.
