Trying to get this thread back on track..

I believe Sandra Post has a golf school in either Oakville or Caledon.Not exactly Woodbridge.Also,you can get lessons at the Golf Dome at the 407/404/Woodbine area.I believe there is also another Golf Dome out on the QEW... Finally, today I just picked up a brochure at Nevada Bob's Golf Store which basically lists all the golf courses in Ontario..its called "Golf Ontario Style"...Cheers and hitem long and straight...

Most any golf course will offer lessons.

find any driving range or course in your area...almost all offer lessons on their site or know of a place you can go in the vicinity for lessons.

I would recommend the first 3 places.

- The Country Club (formerly board of trade - private club but they give lessons and range is free after lessons)

upscale clubs but balls are free after lessons
- Copper creek gc (hwy27 south of Kleinburg)
- Eagle's nest gc (major Mac&Dufferin)

lower end clubs
- Kleinburg gc (hwy 50 and Nashville Rd)
- Nobleton lakes (Hwy 27 near Nobleton) but limited practise area
- Hunter's glen (aka cow pasture)

practise facilities
- launch golf center (Steeles&400)
- ultimate golf center (hwy 50&hw7)

Try the college. Mohawk offers for 60/6 hours indoor/outdoor.

As mentioned most Golf courses/stores/driving range will offer lessons. Shop around a bit because prices vary widely. I have seen some instructors charging as much has 200 per hour. Talk to the actual person doing the teaching. You have to get along with this person. I found a good instuctor for 50 per hour. It's a small golf store that makes custom golf clubs.
