Worst Movie Sequel Ever

You know how you sometimes look at a movie and figure, why not check it out? Well, I was on a torrent site and saw that there was a sequel to the great 80's movie, The Lost Boys. I thought it strange that I hadn't heard anything about it but figured that the 1st one was a classic, why not.

What can be said about Lost Boys 2? Well, boy, I lost 2 hours of my life with this piece of garbage. I think it was even worse than the movie House of the Dead which at least had some comic value ( I was loaded when I saw it). Lost boys 2 is so bad that it was like watching a car wreck; knew it was going to be bad within minutes but felt compelled to watch the whole damn thing. It's so bad that I'd almost recommend it just so others could see how bad it is.

I'm going to be shaking my head over this for a while.

This was a few years back, but the sequel to Escape from New York, Escape from L.A. was pretty bad!

The very worst would be a follow-up to any Hulk Hogan movie. I'd like to see a 'Santa with Muscles II' starring Nick Hogan, with his friend John Graziano playing a Silent Bob type character.

Aliens 3....was so bad ruined Aliens somewhat too.

Same for Start Wars Episode 1 and 2...tainted the good ones before them

If you're curious about these two, save your brain somewhat and watch the MST3K/Rifftrax version, not the originals.

How about Caddyshack 2?

I liked the original. I can still watch it when it's on TV, despite having seen it a number of times. I've even got a gopher clubhead cover for my 1 wood.

Caddyshack 2 was worse than bad. I've seen it once, and I don't think I made it all the way through. It looked like it cost about $25 to make. Brutal.

I would say Highlander 2. It was so bad, it even damaged the original excellent movie. Matrix 2 would have to rate as one of the biggest disappointments as well.

I would think to count as sequels, the original would have to be at least ok.


As to the other suggestions, I haven't seen Dawn to Dusk 2 but the others don't even hold a candle to the crap I watched last night.

Flesh Gordon and the Cosmic Cheerleaders. The origional Flesh is a bad movie classic (and I only saw half the sequel), but wow, you have to work hard to be THIS bad.
