One word - why?
400,000 square feet over 27 stories? 6 floors of parking? How many cars can you possibly own?
I can see owning a 10,000 square foot home. Heck, I could see owning a 20,000 square foot home. But there's a reasonable limit; after all you can only be in one room at one time. How much space is truly required? I like big rooms with lots of space myself but there's a point at which things surpass mere ridiculous.

I get the feeling that the home is more like the White House than a private home. There were multiple references to business guests and I would imagine that many staff are need to run a place like that.xarir said:

Give me a 2,500 square foot home in the country any day over that. It is big, but I prefer the barn, the fire pit and the solitude.
I'm more envious about being able to afford it than the home itself. Regardless of how much money I had, I just can't see myself needing a bigger house than 2,500 square feet. More toys, an in ground pool, trips around the world, hell yeah!! A bigger house, nope, not at all.asn said:

I wouldn't want a place that large. I cherish my privacy greatly and would not want many people running about my place. I would want a much more spacious kitchen with the fanciest oven, inside grill and possibly a small semi equiped kitchen in my basement beside my fire place and bar with my big screen surround sound tv to save me going to my much larger luxurious kitchen to pop a bag of popcorn or grab a drink etc... The other half of my basement would have my indoor swimming pool and each bedroom would have a hot tub and large walk in closets and of course my living room would have large bay windows and I would have a large garden in back of my place and be located right on the lake and own yacht and my master bedroom would have a walk out balcony. My doors would be extra large that way no problems with any deliveries ever to any room in the place. I would say 4 long floors in total and two washrooms on each floor for convenience. Molly maid could come in twice a week then to pick up stuff vaccuum, dust, dishes etc... Laundry then could be sent to the cleaners and that would be more than enough for me.
Another point - a 27 storey tower in Mumbai is kinda like parking a 150 storey building in downtown Toronto. i.e. It will stick out and literally tower over everything in the vicinity. There aren't that many tall buildings in Mumbai - most of the taller ones in the downtown area cap out around 12 storeys.
