I think we need a clock like this to keep tabs on our various levels of government...showing taxes coming in and $$$s going out, broken down into
the various categories. We taxpayers could then see our money being spent 'on the go'...

I remember being in NY City several years ago. I saw a pixelboard that showed how the national debt was increasing. Don't know if it's still there or not, might have been too depressing
