Has anyone worked for STD? I am intersted in doing so, but heard some people say it's not worth it. It seems like a fun way to make money, as I like to drive. I love the concept of a flexible schedule, and without having the stress of having passengers in your car like Uber.

How much have you made on average, and would you recommend it?

I do not know what they pay, but logically I do not think it would much. You supply the vehicle, gas, insurance, ect, ect. Last winter I grabbed a quick bite to eat at a McDonald's. ( I ate in the car ) A well dressed woman took the parking spot next to me in the parking lot. The parking spot was too small and she had to carefully open the door of her car and squeeze out. Her coat was touching my car and her car as she was getting out. She ran inside and grabbed a bag that had the deliver sticker seals on them. A lot of people are between jobs and hope to make a few dollars to tide them over. She was probably trying to keep up on her payments on her almost new SUV. These drivers for Skip the Dishes and Uber Eats will rush like crazy to make their deliveries at lunch and dinner time, probably not too many deliveries between meal times.

The drivers are not paid an hourly wage and get no benefits. They also have to cover their own expenses, including gas and the cost of maintaining their cars. They are paid in tips and receive a delivery fee of $4 to $7 per delivery, the company said in a post on Reddit last year.

How much do UberEATS drivers make? UberEATS drivers can expect to make around $8 – $12 per hour after factoring in vehicle expenses. Delivery pay can vary quite a bit from day to day and hour to hour, and it's crucial to work lunch and dinner rushes if you want to earn on the higher end of the pay scale.

I did uber eats. Better to do it by bike. By car the gas will eat into your earnings. You'll be making like $4/hr.

How about if you include Uber eats, skip the dishes, Uber and Lyft and whatever other delivery services exists like what Grocery Gateway or Amazon uses sometimes and you get dudes in regular cars delivering groceries or packages. A lot of times you see dudes with multiple signs and multiple phones working for all these different companies. There is probably still a way to make money provided you get creative and efficient.
