when you ask a girl out at work and they freak out. do they ever get over it? stop being nervous around you again?
anyone ever been in this situation before?

i know. but she filed a complaint. i just want to know how long it takes usually for girls to relax and realize they have nothing to worry about. There are so many women everywhere else outside the small box of work.
Just don't go there.
I think that's a pretty good hint that she would rather not interact with you. Move on, Casanova....i know. but she filed a complaint. i just want to know how long it takes usually for girls to relax and realize they have nothing to worry about.
She filed a complaint? I guess PUA's Handbook didn't work so well. Move on, be quiet and classy, but watch your six.i know. but she filed a complaint. i just want to know how long it takes usually for girls to relax and realize they have nothing to worry about.

Exactly. Why take on the risk when you can get the same thing without it?There are so many women everywhere else outside the small box of work.
Just don't go there.
Exactly. Time to plant some more seeds...She filed a complaint? I guess PUA's Handbook didn't work so well. Move on, be quiet and classy, but watch your six.

Fair enough, it's still Xmas.Hey, don't judge us by that little turd. =)
I know a little mental trick that works great. Just imagine you had nothing to do with her behavior towards you.I think the question you need to ask is how long it is going to take you to stop being so nervous around her...

When you focus on that, you stop focusing on past history. It surprisingly works well.
ThisIf you asked her out ONCE her complaint should have no legs. You should simply say, "yeah, I asked her out one day, she said no, and I have moved on".
Now if you stalked her for weeks and repeatedly pestered her to go out with you until she filed a complaint THEN you have a problem, because you were way over the line. As a general rule in a workplace you can ask ONCE, and if you get a no, you back off for good.
Which situation is it, honestly? If you only asked her one time it's her issue. If you repeatedly pestered her to go out with you then you will need to show that you have been rehabilitated before anybody is going to relax.
I wouldn't go out of my way to communicate again if she filed a complaint.Until there's a knock at the door.
It's interesting we're not getting much detail about what happened. It could be something simple as making a joke about her vegetarian diet, or something at the other end of the scale. It kind of makes a difference. The word 'freak out' starts a few alarm bells for me.
she's just playing hard to get.i know. but she filed a complaint.
that made me snort from laughing. well fucking played sir, well played indeed.she's just playing hard to get.
