There are so many women everywhere else outside the small box of work.

Just don't go there.
i know. but she filed a complaint. i just want to know how long it takes usually for girls to relax and realize they have nothing to worry about.

I think that's a pretty good hint that she would rather not interact with you. Move on, Casanova....

She filed a complaint? I guess PUA's Handbook didn't work so well. Move on, be quiet and classy, but watch your six.

If you asked her out ONCE her complaint should have no legs. You should simply say, "yeah, I asked her out one day, she said no, and I have moved on".

Now if you stalked her for weeks and repeatedly pestered her to go out with you until she filed a complaint THEN you have a problem, because you were way over the line. As a general rule in a workplace you can ask ONCE, and if you get a no, you back off for good.

Which situation is it, honestly? If you only asked her one time it's her issue. If you repeatedly pestered her to go out with you then you will need to show that you have been rehabilitated before anybody is going to relax.

Run for the hills. I would just forget about her. The first warning sign I see is the complaint. She has some psychological issues. Stay away

I think the question you need to ask is how long it is going to take you to stop being so nervous around her...
I know a little mental trick that works great. Just imagine you had nothing to do with her behavior towards you.

When you focus on that, you stop focusing on past history. It surprisingly works well.

Until there's a knock at the door.

It's interesting we're not getting much detail about what happened. It could be something simple as making a joke about her vegetarian diet, or something at the other end of the scale. It kind of makes a difference. The word 'freak out' starts a few alarm bells for me.

I wouldn't go out of my way to communicate again if she filed a complaint.

Before when I was beta, I would avoid making eye contact with people who I had bad history with. Now I have no problem exchanging pleasantries while making direct eye contact with them.
