I have crappy Microsoft Works on my pc. After I had to re-install windows, I lost my version of Office2000.
I need to send out documents such as resumes, letters, etc. and since they have been created in MSWorks, I am having a hell of a time getting them into the proper format. Email recipients are always telling me they cannot open the documents. I re-save the documents as .doc, .rtf everything that I can see in the choices given to me and still have problems.
I have a resume saved on disk that was done in Office2000, however, I am unable to open that to revise the info. Any suggestions? other than buying the software? I have lost my old contacts who would let me use their programs to download.
Only a good word processing system is needed, I do not need spreadsheeting, etc..... thx
