I read the judge's reasoning in the article, but still don't agree.

Technically speaking it's a work place.

When I was living in Newfoundland* this guy apparently called into the talk radio shows and said he couldn't clear his driveway because if he injured himself he wouldn't get workmans comp.

*I can use the N word because I am an N word on my mother's side. Also a different N word on my father's side. As well as being a massive N word via lifestyle.

If she's being paid to work from home and it happens while she's working, I see no reason to grant her Workers Comp.
