WLIB (1190 AM) is switching from the liberals to the Lord.

After 29 months as the flagship station for the progressive talk network Air America, WLIB will become a full-time black gospel music station on Sept. 1.

Radio, the horse & buggy media....

Liberals have the important mediums all locked up......TV, Hollywood, the Internet (that Gore invented.....hehehe) so we libs throw the GOPers a 'bone' and let em have radio....LOL !!

Face it the righties have NO creativity, Never did, so they gravitate to a more fitting 'horse & buggy' media that suits their conservative way of viewing things.

It's really no surprise here.

BTW anyone recall that VERY short TV stint El Rushblow-Hard Limbaugh did a few years back?
Rush may be good behind the Mike, where nobody sees his drug addicted fat arse but when his was shown on the TV Stage he BOMBED BIGTIME!! On TV the whole world saw what a total fool he was and his TV Show was shortly thereafter dropped!!!
The only ones not to make this discovery were his loyal mindnumbed lemmings, who well still swallow anything Rush laddles out for them......

Someone better tell Randy Rhodes and Al Franken that they are working in a horse and buggy media. Did you read that Rush (who I personally find boring) has 15 million listeners a week........

Are Blogs Just High tech Lunatic Ravings?

Most blogs are just a new high tech way for lunatics and crazies to rant to a potentially larger audience. What makes a blogger any different then some random guy chanting to no one in particular on a soap box? If a blogger ends up being articulate and strikes a cord with some part of the public then somebody offers them a job at a newspaper or radio station. On the flip side, print media and broadcast media supplement their articles and shows with blogs, maximizing their audience. So I think a benchmark for blog success would be what else the blogger is doing (print or broadcast) otherwise they are just cyber-masturbating.

Maybe you should take the time and actually listen to his shows, instead of listening to his critics.

Personally I find him quiet entertaining and a welcome change, from the usual media crap served on other stations.

I've listened to him and find his programing very boring.
He's self-serving and dwells on a topic for an inordinate
amount of time. His rants seldom adds anything of
value. Fact is, he frequently distorts the story and
glibly misstates his opponent's position.

Excellence in broadcasting. Clearly tongue in cheek.

I would agree with the first sentance, the rest applies to the entire medium, TERB and all of Pekkker's sources.
