Wix sites not displaying on playbook...

Yeahyeah get the playbook laughs out of the way...

For some reason I can't figure the wix pages a lot of the indies use are just loading blank.

Any techies got any idea what's gone wrong? Recent development and I haven't changed anything settings wise.

If they are heavy on flash, might be something wonky.

I'm guessing that wix is detecting the playbook as a mobile device, and redirecting to a page that is sending custom html that the playbook is unhappy with. I can see it works fine on a desktop, but automatically presents a mobile version on my phone. I've noticed that some sites are now more and more recognizing that the playbook is mobile, which is not what I want.

Try the free origami browser. It allows you to play with the user agent string, so the playbook can pose as Chrome, or Firefox, etc.

Hey Amy

its probably the playbook being awkward- it used to work then just stopped. The origami browser is very good though- once you learn all the gestures!

Now I can see you in all your glory again :biggrin1:

They work on my iPad which means no flash or mobile sites issues.
