THAT'S EXACTLY what I was thinking.james t kirk said:There's no such thing as a good wiper blade. I'm convinced of it.
Even the factory ones are lousy. I've tried them all. Winter, summer, teflon, Dealer, After market, they all suck.
You are correct. Cleanest summer blade out there, but they still chatter at 120Km plus, probably because they clean tooooo much water off of the windshield, and therefore no lubricant on the return pass. I've used the CTC Teflon blades and Reflex, and neither one is 100% winter friendly. My last 2 pairs of Reflex blades, one blade in each set, the rubber blade seperated from the spring(ripped away). CTC won't replace.funsmartguy said:I like the reflex blades at Canadian Tire. They don't have a large bracket/plastic/metal piece attached to the rubber, hence less likellihood of getting blocked with ice. I just saw an ad for a new type of winter wiper blade at Can. Tire, I will report back in the next day if they are any good.

You know how your windshield has the 2 clean areas where the wiper has passed, and the rest is white from dried salty roadspray? RainX helps keep the whole windshield cleaner, and beads the drizzle, mist, fog etc so you don't actually have to use the blades to clear as often. It allows for intermitent wiper use in heavier rain also. I've found wet snow to respond similarly to rain. I know it costs twice what the regular blue wash does, but well worth the extra$funsmartguy said:Do you find the RainX makes a difference?
100% RainX. The yellow with de-icer for the winter, and pink for the bug guts in the summer.funsmartguy said:Thanks for the info - last question (I hope).
Do you use it 100% or diluted?
I agree there all CRAP!james t kirk said:There's no such thing as a good wiper blade. I'm convinced of it.

Wish I knew about RainX before I bought the motomaster teflon fluid this morning.pussylicker said:100% RainX. The yellow with de-icer for the winter, and pink for the bug guts in the summer.
What makes a better fluid then when you see it at the stores?Cobster said:Homemade windshield fluid recipe...
