So i think i deleted some stuff i shouldt have

No the computer wont even turn on


Anyone know how to reinstall windows? How do i delete the old one?

Just have the disk in the drive when you computer turns on, it will automatically tak you thru the install process.

do you have the Xp disc ? can your PC boot from the CD drive ?

insert the XP CD into the CD drive. turn on computer, hit F8 or whatever you need for it to boot from the CD drive, you will have options to boot from different devices, pick the CD option. then install XP.

Freakshow, it sounds like you deleted some of those registry keys.
Leave those buggers alone I tell ya.

I am on my laptop and yes i think i did delete some of those registry keys but adware pickced them up

While the computer boots up, hold down the delete key. That should take you into the BIOS. Go into the BIOS Features Setup (or some such named section) and change the boot sequence so that it first goes to your CDROM.

i tried booting it from the cd rom it has tried to attemp to install but know when you try to turn on computer nothing happens

I got it going however having prooblems with my hard drive its only recngnizing 130 gig i have 200 gig.......any suggestions?
