Windows Live Mail question

I have a Hotmail account that I access through OE(along with regular ISP email) had it for years .
I recently got a message from MIcrosoft that after June, I will no longer be able to access hotmail account through OE, and they recommend upgrading to Live Mail, with simlilar looks etc to IE.

A few questions re the upgrade to LIve...

Will I still be able to access my old OE messages with Live
I assume all contacts etc transfer
How does Live differ from OE
what have folks experienced with Live?
any other comments appreciated

Live Mail is just what their calling their new version of Outlook express in vista

Actually Vista doesn't have live mail. Vista uses Windows mail. Live mail is on the internet and its what they used to call hotmail.

I got the same alert and installed the Live Mail. To answer your question, yes you can still access your old messages in Outlook Express and Hotmail. There are no appreciable changes.

everything from OE transfers over quickly and easily. it's worth the upgrade
