At a press junket, Macy was asked about the work ethic of Lohan. I love his response!!

"You can't show up late. It's very, very disrespectful. I think what an actor has to realize (is that) when you show up an hour late, 150 people have been scrambling to cover for you. There is not an apology big enough in the world to have to make 150 people scramble. It's nothing but disrespect. And Lindsay Lohan is not the only one. A lot of actors show up late as if they're God's gift to the film. It's inexcusable, and they should have their asses kicked."

If a production company has a movie to make, and a star is known or found to be "difficult", then they will simply get another star.

The box office is just to recover the cost of filming. The real money is in licensing for rentals. That's where the big bucks are. The box office is only to get people talking about it.

Take the movie Boondock Saints for example. The guy who created story pissed off Harvey Weinstein, the biggest man on campus in Hollywood. What he says goes, in ALL the studios. If Harv doesn't think you can make it, then nobody will touch you. The movie was then sold to a smaller studio who releases it to limited cinemas with a horrible box office showing. It is now a tremendous success as a cult classic sold in VHS and DVD format. Actually, it's been a hit for years.
