Reality shows rock! My favorite reality show was "Paradise Hotel" & apparently they will be making another one shortly, YES!. I love Fear Factor, Bachelor, Extreme Makeover, Extreme Makeover Home Addition & The Apprentice "You're Fired" lol! I also love all those shows on TLC (What not to wear, Wedding story & Trading spaces). Yeah Yeah, I have no life because I watch Reality shows lol.

And you don't have to try too hard to appear very intelligent.

I don't watch too many reality shows but i do watch this one. I really don't want Rob and Amber to win this but they look like the best team there easily. The only way i don't see them making the finals is if they make one huge mistake which can happen sometimes anything else they can probably recover from.

At the beginning of the show I hoped that Rob and AMber would get kicked off pretty quick.

Now most of the other teams are annoying and against Rob and Amber. I cannot now but root for them to win. Even though they already have money from Survivor. I hope that gay couple is gone next.

So I hope they win, so long as they don't screw things up.

Someone once told that people who watch Reality T.V are not very intelligent & usually have a small I.Q. They then told me that people who watch Reality T.V are unsatisfied with their own lives & get pleasure off watching other peoples lives lol.

And I'm hear to tell you that people who say stuff like this have even smaller IQ's and tiny penises to match. And that includes the women.

Anyway, back to the topic, I think Rob & Amber will not win, simply because with everyone else gunning for them, the odds are too long. At this point in the season, just about every team has gotten annoying to some degree. I liked the mom and gay son team at first, but they quickly got annoying, especially him. The soldier/beauty queen team... she is annoying. The old geezer team... both are annoying. And so on...

There's a lot of luck involved so it's impossible in my opinion to "know" who will win but I think that Rob is the best I've seen at asking the locals for help and bribing people to his team's advantage. I think they must be good for ratings because they are so arrogant and unlikable.

I admit, I watch some reality TV, as well as scripted shows of course, and the bottom line for me is that I watch what I find entertaining. When 'Survivor', the arguable pioneer of modern reality shows debuted, I resisted watching it. I was convinced it was the harbringer of the fall of Western Civilization as we knew it. After it had been on for a few weeks, I decided to give it a try. I thought it was a very entertaining show. So, based on that, I decided it was worth my time, and I found that to be true about a few other reality shows as well.

On the subject of whether these shows are truly "real" vs. being scripted, that's irrelevant, as far as I am concerned. I don't think we are going to see reality tv scandals like the quiz show scandals in the '50's. Everything on TV is choreographed to some extent, but again, as long as it is entertaining, that's all that matters to me.

Big to-do this week about Rob and Amber not stopping after the brothers flipped their car. I think it was a little crappy for them not to stop, but on the other hand, it is a competition for a million bucks. I think what I would have done was to slow down, roll down my window, and yell, "Are you guys all right?", and then drive off. That's what most of the teams did anyway--only one team stopped their car and got out. And what was the point of that? The brothers were okay.

I don't watch reality tv but I do watch AR. The scenery as they travel the world is awesome. Seeing the teams try to mix with the locals can be entertaining. I liked AR6 better than AR7 because the teams were stronger with more character. We got to hate Jonathon for treating his wife so bad. Rebbeca from AR6 is one of the strongest females so far. She carried 'Hellboy' through the entire race. Put her with Rob & they would be a great team.

Rob and Amber also make for great television. I was amazed at how many people around the world must watch Survivor, especially in South Africa. They seem to be able to get a local to escort them around in every city they went to due to their 15 minutes of fame.

I would like them to win simply because IMHO Rob is the best player I have ever seen on Amazing Race, and on Survivor he got the girl and in a round about way therefore got the million dollars. Smart Dude!
