Will Jason Kidd's DWI affect the Knicks?

So the plan was Kidd and Felton for PG and Lin was odd man out.

Does the DWI change anything? How much does Kidd have left in the tank. I watched the Mavs in the playoffs and Kidd didn't stand out (but that was a while ago and I don't remember his stat lines).
