Will Biden step down?

I think at this point what I feel for Biden is pity. And I think that Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer, maybe Barack Obama, along with a few other trusted people and Jill Biden, need to go to the White House. And try to get him to resign, not just the Nomination but the Presidency.

And if he refuses then there is a very clear and legitimate case to invoke the 25th Amendment.

It's sad and unfortunate. But the very legitimacy of the President as a rational person with all their functions is now in question.

Sad? You were gloating and beating your chest in the other thread about the debate. America takes another step towards fascism and dictatorship…this is what you want, no? Remember your whole schtick about how things have to gey worse before they get better?

I'd say they just got worse. If he isn't capable of carrying the party into the next election he isn't capable of being the president now.

I watched it. Did you? Ask yourself this. If you were a hiring manager at Walmart would you give him a job as a greeter or politely excuse yourself to go call his family to pick him up so he gets home safe?

I said way back he wasn't up for it. It's obvious now it's a cabal of aids and appointees running the Presidency. And we have two regional wars both on the verge of spilling over into something far worse. Do you think the American public will trust him now? What about world leaders?

He needs to go. The Dems still have time to run an open convention, get options on the state ballot, and run a fair election. But only if they act soon. Otherwise Trump will be the president.

That's the reality.

As bad as he is because of his age Biden is still far less dangerous than Trump.
No he isn't. We are talking about the Commander in Chief of the USA military with the state of the world as it is. What kind of confidence is going to be projected to the world to keep a lid on things?

He has to go.

Here
The Democrats are working as a team. Which makes far less dangerous than the dictator psycho.
I real
I like Joe, he has always been a horrible man and a great politician and as much as I hate to agree with you, his time is up. The problem is who replaces him

Here is what you are saying. You are good with a senile old man as a figurehead while anonymous people in the background run the show. And you consider this good for democracy?

You do realize the American people are not going to stand for this right?

Blame the party insiders who hid this and tried to pull a fast one. And the people around him who didn't want to give up power.

Its been like that for the last 4 years. No one on his team went to jail. While all former Trump squad ended up convicted 😂

I’m not disagreeing with you…Biden’s prospects for reelection have just collapsed. The US (and the rest of us) can anticipate a 2nd Trump presidency and the end of American democracy. We can look forward to escalating conflict, violence, political assassinations, etc; all the things you have been cheerleading to usher in your socialist utopia; because things have to get worse before they can get better…remember?

So I’ll ask again- Why are you sad? This is everything you could have dreamed of.

It worked for Ronald Reagan…but Republicans have lower standards.

I have mixed feelings and not sure what you stated will happen.

What i foresee is getting all his convictions dropped, getting a billion or 2 so his business can survive, continue to give big tax break to the rich and do fuck all for the poor and middle class (those peasants Trump hate so much even if many vote for him).

The US will, within 10 more years, look like a big Honduras or Salvador.

We could have had Sanders. Or any number of other people. Instead we have this. Predicting and "cheering" and two very different things.

I have empathy for any elderly person taken advantage of by people use want to use them. This is Elder Abuse.

Unless you're Palestinian.

This is an interesting time, there will be a push for Jill Stein unless Biden sits down.
She has a path to 270 seats at the EC, even if its unlikely.

Will Biden step down?
Can his party force him?

As we write these post the democrats are currently on their phone to book a replacement. My father is 82 and would have done far better.

What did we get from Trump from this debate? That he is good at golf? We all know he's a complete cheater at golf. Just like his life. Heck he cheats is own hair.
