A sharp-eyed member caught Wilikeaks first tweet on the subject:

Wikileaks then reissued the tweet:
https://twitter.com/wikileaks/status/246004221768499204, and issued this BS statement: "We have deleted and rephrased a previous tweet with the word 'tacit' in it, since the word is rare and was being misinterpreted"

The Wikileaks twitter feed is beleived to be controlled by Julian Assange.
This is all just more proof of his monumental douchebaggery.

Indeed it is.

It is also just plain stupid. Honestly the police keeping him from fleeing without being arrested, is in his mind the same as a mob coming over the Embassy Wall and another mob attacking a consulate with RPG's and rifle fire, talk of an ego the size of Sydney!

Sure they're the same. The US is evil and they made the UK prevent him from fleeing lawful arrest. The anti-US militants in Libya are anti-US so any immoral things they do is the fault of the Americans.
