Why would anybody pay $400 for a old empty motor oil can

Today looking back at an E-bay member feedback, I came across an item he purchased. Now I know people some times get hung up on things they grew up with, which is understandable but THIS

Its an old 5 quart empty can of truck motor oil, it sold for almost $400! Is there something I am not getting?
