Why Vietnamese men can't go home again (their wives won't let them)

"The men's significant others contend that Vietnamese women lie in wait to ambush them, often eager for the financial stability such a match would bring.
"All the girls in Vietnam are aggressive. They attack!" said Ha Tien, 38, who owns an accounting business in San Jose. She said she lost her man to such a love guerrilla a few years ago."

""The problem is, Vietnamese women are getting prettier and prettier," said Nhan, perched on a stool at his cozy establishment that serves up draft beer, hamburgers and female employees in short shorts who flirtatiously brush against male customers they like. "They wear more cosmetics. They eat better. They exercise."
And they are not afraid to let foreigners know they are open to a frolic, a fling or something more serious.
"The tradition has been the male chases after the female," Liem said. "Now, it's the other way around in Vietnam.""

I dated a vietnamese girl for awhile. They are very aggressive and pushy. Maybe that's exciting when they're pushing you to go out on dates with them (which they do!) but honestly it gets a little tiring after awhile. The one I dated formulated an entire plan for my life and started demanding to know why I wasn't following it. Shortly after that I didn't follow her requests to go out on dates either...

That accent and language is fucking annoying!! One of the worst sounding languages in the world for sure. Besides that agree that Viet women are sexy, especially the ones that are born in Canada.

I can relate that to a situation my best friend was in. Not Vietkong but Filipina women. They met in Dubai, and so on. Long story short, they moved back to US and she had the plan laid out for him. It worked for few years, and then the poor guy ventured out. She was even controlling how much money he can spend on beer, and who can come to house, and so on even though my friend has a very good job. Talk about micro managing!!! I guess its worth only seeing them for an hour or an evening and not more :)

I could fake submissiveness until I tire of the sex ........... had a lil thing with a Viet babe I met at an MP. Never went far enough for her to try to latch on tho.

She didn't know about that. She was pushing me to take cooking classes because she thought it would make me a better eventual father to her children if I was a better cook. That was just step #1 in her plan. She had a whole plan all figured out, what I was going to do, when I was going to do it, and how it was going to lead to a happy family. She really got pretty upset that I did not enroll in the cooking classes and said it meant I wasn't serious.

I wasn't serious :)

I had tried both Viets and Philipinos and now staying far far away from them. They are as fuji stated and never really into you, but to use you. My phamily back home needs help is their usual line for Flips and some of my friends who got married to them told me they're very sneaky in sending money bk home. Koreans and Japs are more straight forward and have pride in their behaviors
