He seems to know about taking credit for the leadership and accomplishments of others in a combat theatre. What he doesn't seem to know about is people who will actually fact check his credentials and public assertions for their veracity. He was despised during his military career, not respected, and his appointment to his current job was seen for exactly what it is, and how I described it.
