The joint I'm referring to is the one in my left shoulder. I've been diagnosed with a little bit of Tendonitis. I think the problem is mostly with my use of the keyboard and mouse at work and at home and how I stiffen my shoulder. I'm working it at the gym and doing lots of stretching, but over the last month or two, the flexibility, especially first thing in the morning isn't great. Moving my arm over my head can sometimes be painful.
In talking to friends and others that have suffered this condition (its part of the aging process I guess and our use of these friggen computers). I've been told there is hope. There have been studies done with Glucosamine and Chondroitin, together as a liquid or in capsule or soft cap form. Studies have shown an increase in flexibility and a decrease in pain over a two to three week period.
Question is, have any of you suffered the same fate due to the time you spend on the computer. Have you found something that works. I've ordered a better more ergonomically designed keyboard tray.
