Found this question in various other threads and reckoned I would just put it here. The two reasons I will focus here are not meant to be a complete treatment of this issue, but two I know to happen. (Recently spoke to someone that had this happen to her twice this year)

  1. Fake or bad provider change their numbers to avoid being attached to bad reviews.
  2. (This one is our fault) The SP's number gets tagged as a spammer and will no longer be able to send text.
    • When we delete a conversation on our phones in most cases we have two options:
      • 'Delete'
      • 'Delete and mark as SPAM'
    • Well Not totally our fault, I reckon with a good number of people we default to select the choice at the bottom. Enough of us make this choice for an SP who likely has hundreds of conversations a day and we can see how easy it would be to be tagged as a SPAMMER.
Why some SPs have the same number for years while others are forced to change numbers several times a year might have to do with the number of conversations or the number of people who default to the bottom choice when given more than one.

Some sps get randomly blocked in text app that have a no soliciting rule. Happened to one of my regular girls. Some numbers get closed if the text app number hasn’t been logged into for a couple weeks as well. The downside to text apps I suppose.
