Why did terb.ca turn into terb.cc?

It's because Fred and the gang were getting sick of the cold crappy Canadian weather and decided to move to Cocos Islands + open the lounge for all terbies to come and visit once the prostitution becomes illegal. Apparently Fred's server was not holding up to well in his basement and needed coconut juice to cool the hot topics being discussed on here. Why do you think every night around midnight it needed a reset and reebooting. It is as simple as this explanation. Hope this helps a bit. Cheers

Note that where you host a site doesn't have to match the top level domain of the site name. Ie terb can move hosting outside of Canada but keep a .ca domain.
However, the registrar for the .ca domain might be at risk under the new laws in dealing with these sites, so it seems sites are making a clean break from depending on Canadian infrastructure.
