The married woman on the other hand is not supposed to cheat, and there is no practical reason to cheat, so it requires an enhanced desire on her part to drive her to do so. She must always be aroused, so that she can take any opportunity that presents itself. Because from an evolutionary standpoint, getting some non-husband sperm is a very good idea.

I can't say that I agree with the majority on the reasons here. I find nothing tempting about the "taboo" aspect of messing with an attached woman, or the whole competition element.

Again, I think many attached women are attractive because of the aura that comes with regular sex (heck it made me more desireable, so it must work), and the fact that they seem more secure.

But knowing she goes home to the same guy every night (or most nights) also makes me view her as "soiled" or "marked territory" and is a definite turn-off. It takes alot of imagination (and desparation) for me to get around this aspect.
