Why are the Fonts here so damn large?

I may be old but I'm not blind yet and the fonts here seem annoyingly large. Any way to adjust them?

I'm on 1280 x 1024 and they look fine - if anything, a tad too small.

1024 x 768. The old TERB and all my other sites look fine. But not this new TERB. It stinks!
