It says that he participated in the 1965 Selma to Montgomery marches (pretty rad for a white guy!). Later, he was among the performers who refused to perform in South Africa's apartheid state.

Now there's something I didn't know about Bennett or what the Selma march was all about - very rad for a white guy. lol

Check out his latest duo CD. He sings with LG, Amy Winehouse. I have one from way back where he sings with Canada's own K.D. Lang, and KDL has a great voice and jazz singer.

TB re-invents himself by doing this too. He's young at heart and respects new talent out there.

Tony Bennett in hot water again!

CBS News last night ran a piece last night where Tony Bennett said USA polices caused 9/11 to happen! Of course the usual right-tard suspects went ballistic on Tony for being so forthcoming. So in an attempt to sooth the rabid righties and keep them from frothing at the mouth, Tony made a bit of a retraction of his earlier statement.

However YOU know in the heart of your heart, Tony was spot on in his first statement!....
