Just 10 points seperate the top nine clubs in the race for the 2005-06 Presidents' Trophy. Which team will end up on top?

I voted Buffalo to continue their streak but I don't think it matters which team wins The President's Trophy. There are more teams that win the cup but not the PT than teams that win both. I think the last team to win it & the cup was the Red Wings in 2002.

i agree with Dallas, as you can see, they got my vote.. the first vote...

i also think Detroit can definitely compete for that title, i think they were the hottest team the last 2 weeks before the break... but they have struggled off and on, who knows..?

Dallas seems to be in the best physical shape... they are an exciting team to watch.

anyone see that kid, Trevor Daley play... fuck, i though Zubov was good with his end-to-end rushes... this Daley kid can move the puck fast!

Marty Turco is the best shootout goaltender in the league... near perfect.

Buffalo, also has a huge advantage being that they are on the longest home stretch and only play Eastern Conference teams here on in...

yes, the team that wins the PT has the same odds of winning the cup as the 16th placed team in the league... given they make the playoffs! ie, the 16th seed... so, yeah i guess one of the 15 out of 16 teams should win the cup almost every season.

may happen again...

Anaheim has quite a roster, now, with the Neidermayer brothers and Selanne, and a strong core of rookies including world jr. stars Getzlaf and Perry... Also, Anaheim has the NHL's best record since the Olympic break!
