GK did wrestle from time to time but can't remember if she was any good. I want to say that she actually knows a few moves beyond punches and kicks. I think Trish, Victoria and Molly Holly are the only ones that could do any moves.

This is not saying she was any good, but someone in WWE saw something in her. In her first match with WWE she won the women's championship.

WWE didn't do her any favours by giving her the Women's Title on her debut on Raw. I think most fans prefer to see the title on Trish. Gail had no mic skills and not much of a personality plus she really isn't all that hot (plus she was also injured often) hence the quick stay @ WWE.
