The most telling stats are the annual worldwide death tolls for seasonal flu 250,000 ( low end estimate) vs the worldwide confirmed death toll for swine flu of 18,000.

Guess some people here are just lucky that WHO doesn't sell real estate or mutual funds.

1. How many vaccinations do you think were administered in Brazil, India, China, Pakistan and most Afican nations ?

2. Vaccinations for seasonal flu have been around a lot longer. Just look at the numbers between the two.

3. WHO is two for two in "crying wolf". Anyone remeber the destruction that was supposed to be caused by bird flu? Sad thing is that now no one will believe them. They are bound to be right about something sooner or later. Law of averages.

Sounds as if the Globe is just as bad as WHO. Isn't this the 43 "superbug" threat in the last 10 years. The Globe was a big part of the irresponsible journalism that created the panic.
