Article in the Star ranks which Toronto team will win a championship first (or next, depending on how you want to look at it).
As the author does, with apologies I too will exclude the Argonauts, Rock or any other team outside of the big three in T.O.
So place your vote and share your rationale. Who will enjoy a championship parade first, the Maple Leafs, Blue Jays or Raptors?
Personally, i think it's even money between the Jays and Raps. The Jays are in a better position right now, but the competition is very deep. I think the Raps are still aways off, but with the small rosters, a quick turnaround is more likely, especially given the Colangelo hire and the cap flexibility the Raps have, plus a young star (Bosh), and promising player like Villuneva and others with potential (Graham, Calderone and whoever they draft).
I will give the slight edge to the Jays, but if the Raps sign Bosh to a long-term deal, they might move-up.
The Leafs, I'm afraid to say, need a lot of work, and now that they're handcuffed by the cap, they can't go out and buy talent the way they used to. They're my longshots.
