I have seen both movies and I personally thought X-Men 2 was better movie all round. The effects may have been better in Matrix, but X-Men 2 storyline was superior.

Are you crazy? X-Men #1 was the movie with the most stupid plot I have ever watched. Proposterous, it's all I can say. I won't even bother watching #2, they remind me of the stupid plot-less movies like Batman. If you want to see a splendid movie watch "Steal", it's a superb, witty movie.

Matrix Reloaded is much better.
On interest twist, there are not any cop-killing scenes in the Matrix Reloaded.
I was planning to see the Matrix with someone special, but I could not.
Anyway, I feel this movie is very good; actions (martial arts), love (impossible love can bring back Trinity)(tears in my eyes), and of course, the philosophy behinds the story line.
Good Movie. Period.
