Mississauga, but in reality, I'd go even more west and live in Milton. Downtown is a hell hole: traffic, bums, weird smells, loony people, crime, overpopulated, noise, pollution, expensive, inconvenience of getting around just to buy some food...

Man, the suburbs rule. I used to work in Milton, it was so freakin' peaceful there... and clean... and everything was conveniently located... one day... one day...

Grew up in West Hill (Scarborough), lived downtown when I was young and single, now live in the 905 with children. They all have their merits.

Traffic & people suck downtown pretty much only Monday to Friday during the day, or Friday & Saturday nights. I always find it interesting that all the people who say they hate downtown because of this reason ARE ACTUALLY the reason it sucks. Hehehe... C'mon down on a Sunday, or a Wednesday night for a late dinner. All the subburbanites have gone home & the city is amazing! No traffic, friendly people... I live downtown and eagerly await 7pm every night when I can go out for a bike ride without fear of some self-absorbed subburbanite running me down because they think bikes should be on the sidewalks, or a Sunday when I walk around the various markets and the people coming from Church in their Sunday best smile & say hello.


FYI: I'm not talking about ALL subburbanites - just the self-absorbed ones. I'm sure they don't know who they are. Hehehe....

get a condo downtown for the weekends... rent it out to SP during the week... also, during the week, live in the 905... life's more fun.
