Where are good places to find Sales and Bus. Dev jobs?

I am looking for a legit Sales and Bus. Dev job in Toronto, that pays a very good base and/ or commission. I have been in bus. dev., media, marketing and PR for twenty five years, so just looking for some suggestions and guidance of jobs that are ideal/ out there now or maybe something temporary between now and Christmas. I have noticed there a number of Executives, Entrepreneurs, Business Owners here, so I thought I would ask the question here.

I have looked in the usual places, such as the Sun, Star, Craigslist, etc. A lot of "jobs" that seem kinda of sketchy ("buy a job"/ Pay $995, etc.) or don't pay much (selling Natural Gas contracts, Primerica, Future Shop, etc.) and I don't have time to get licensed (Life Ins., Stock Broker) in 2008, so any helpful advice would be greatly appreciated. I have a strong work ethic and great bus. skill sets, just looking for the right situation, short or long term, where it is a "win win".

Register with a recruiter, several if you can. They tend to be industry specific so ask a lot of questions about the type of clients they have (FSI, Retail, Health/Sciences, etc.). You'll need to narrow down your industry a bit as sales and BD are different in each industry and with 20+ years experience you will either want to stick with what you know or custom your resume to support an industry leap.

If you google "Toronto Executive Search" a number of firms will come up, call and interview several. :)
There is also a directory that has a listing of some firms which might help you narrow your selection.
