When your ATF retires ....

You have seen her numerous times, got to know her, and can share your joy and pain with her. You would even consider her a friend. Then one day she retires and you can't find her anymore. Do you get an empty feeling? How do you deal with it?

Of course I know you shouldn't get emotional with SPs, but we are human afterall ....

If this happened to me, I'd go through the top 10 SPs availible to me and find another ATF. Now if I was in love with said ATF, then I'd go out looking for a therapist.

...interesting thread, and I'm sure you'll get lots of response, particularly in light of the recent departure of the spectacular Amanda from Mirage who will clearly have been many guys' ATF.

Personally, when Mia of Sassy moved out West last year, thought I'd never find her equal again in the GTA, but there are many many other astounding ladies so very very close, it definitely eases the disappointment and creates new opportunities and adventures for sure, and we all have to remember, it's still not real life, but rather just a hobby, and as such these things should best be kept in perspective...

Well said Demien. It's like when you have a puppy and love it so much, one day and that day will come when that puppy dies. Fact of life. Grieve, cherish the memories and move on.

You realize that she was never a friend but someone you fucked for money . Get a grip .
You are a source of income she is a source of pleasure . Full stop . You get along great because
there are no strings attached . BTW you don't know her at all because you never spent any time with her .
You actually may not even like the "real" her .

Go find another one cause there are lots available who will be your "friend" until they choose to
move on . Best cure is to find another girl .

Sorry for the tough love but is this "illusion" you grew fond of really worth getting upset over .
She probably isn't giving you a second thought .

I got broken in early by seeing my favorite going down skid row fast. Yeah I felt bad-helpless and when nobody else seemed to care it was the last straw for me. I just try to recall the fun old times we used to have. In my case we had much in common but she got hook on that crack junk and for me I did not enjoy it and stopping was easy. She stole, did anything for more of it and was paying the price.

Heck at least now most will give notice they are hanging it up and you can keep it in mind on your last date. On my last date I did not know it be the last--no goodbye but a see you next time which never happen.

Sooner or later my ATF will retire and yes I'll feel sad. Nothing lasts forever. You can't help but feel a certain closeness/bond after spending so much time with one girl but you got to leave your emotions at the door. Avg Terbite fucks maybe 10 girls a year on this board. Your ATF will fuck at least that in a week. Keep it all in perspective. It is what it is.

Sounds very much like this has happened to you and from your only other post it looks like you are looking for her replacement or someone like her. If so, learn from your experience and move on. I seriously doubt many relationships ever develop from this situation.

Yeah the gals sees more-fuck more but they just receive it, not give it. I think it makes a difference. They can drift off-day dream with a guy while a guy would lose it if he did.

Plus the guys has more good years...heck mine old gal was just a few years old than me but she was about "washed up" long ago. I am still going strong.

Yeah this happened to me recently. I do see other SPs (new and repeats) but it is a bit different with my ATF. Don't get me wrong I am not in love with her, but to be honest here I do view her as a friend.

All of you guys make great points - we fuck 10 SPs a year and they fuck at least 10 guys a week. I also think smylee52 is right - the real her is probably very different than what I saw in her and that makes her the pro, not me.

I think it will take a week or so, but I will move on no doubt.

It can be a tough situation, particularly since it's not something you can really discuss in polite society.

You feel bad that you're saying goodbye to someone you really like, but you can't phone up your friends and relatives and say, "I feel down because my favourite SP is retiring." So, in some ways, you're experiencing a sense of loss that you have to keep to yourself.

Lots of hobbyists go through this at some point. The good news is another ATF will come along. And, as Smylee points out, the friendship you think you're losing is really something of an illusion.

Its a matter of setting your expectations up front
Every chick that fucks you for money, will disappear one day. As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow.

If you find a SP that you really like, hey thats great, enjoy the time you send with her
But, do not delude yourself that she will always be there, when you get the itch.

Look at it as an opportunity to expand your SP horizon
Who knows, you might find someone that excites you even more

I think this is precisely what's bothering me. Let's face it, I see my ATF (for a good fuck of course) even more often than seeing some of my friends. When I visit we pick up right where we left off last time, updating each other's life a little. Heck, she even remembers the details of what I told her last time around. So it is difficult for me to accept this friendship as only an illusion. But I guess her professionalism is what got me hooked, pun intended.

Now most of you guys have been hobbying much longer than I have (only 2 years for me), so I guess I will probably go through this again if I stay in this hobby.

But like I said before I will get over it .... I guess it's time to shop for some new excitement!

I lately been like striking out on repeat dates with sp's. It used to seem more enjoyable years ago but now seems like each time its not as good the second date??

Might be me, the first time I'm happy just to "get her" but after that I can tell I am "just a number" and when the coo coo clock strikes the hour she is gone (that is another thing, the old days for me the gals did not time the dates, it was over when the fun stopped--which many times was under an hour but some when on much longer running to get a bite to eat, a beer at the store, then a motel room)

So maybe its not all me.

I just find new dates are the best and not repeats.

Over the years I've had a few ATF's. When each retired, I eventually found a new ATF. It can take time and patience, but like you said, "time to shop around for some new excitement"!

I really liked a dancer, then she retired, so I never saw here, and I was disappointed. But then after a few years, she unretired again, and I see her again. So never say never.

Glad to see you are moving on . something else you learned is some SP's have amazing memories . I happened to
make a date with an SP that I thought would be a new experience and it turned out she had simply changed her name
when changing agencies . So she walks in the room and looks similar to a girl I thought had left the business and I
had seen only once , for half an hour a year and a half before . I told her she looked familiar and she proceeded
to tell me where and when we had met before which I thougjht showed a very good memory but then she recounted
how we actually met the week before that date as she was walking though the suite and I was talking to an SP I was seeing
that day . Now that was impressive . Does it mean she likes me more than the next guy . Nope . Means she has an
extremely good memory which can be an asset in the sex trade.
