When do you normally get location confirmation for your session?

Three weeks ago I booked an appointment with a provider which is to take place tomorrow morning. (Found the provider on Tryst, she's well reviewed on terb, definitely not a scam.) The provider said she uses Allegra's incall spaces and would get back to me to let me know the exact location, since she would have to see which ones are available. She said my appointment was confirmed and requested the deposit, which I sent via e-transfer. She has not accepted the e-transfer yet.

I sent her an email about a week ago asking whether she'd received the deposit and whether she knew which part of the city she'd be in so I could plan my day; I also asked what some of her favourite snacks/treats were, since I was intending to bring a small gift (this info isn't available on her website, and she doesn't have Throne or another wish list). I received no response to that email.

I sent another email yesterday asking whether our appointment was going ahead on Saturday; still have received no response.

Is it normal not to get confirmation of appointment/location until the day of? I've never had this experience with a provider before; normally they provide at least general location info promptly, and normally if I send a deposit via e-transfer, they confirm receipt.

(Also the provider in question has been active on Twitter over the past few days and doesn't seem to be ill, injured, on vacation, anything like that.)

It varies by provider. For things booked in advance confirmation the day before or morning of is common in my experience. Providers will often give guidance in that regard (if not ask). Providers are often wary about being overly specific about locations for first time visitors, though it wouldn't of hurt her to give you a rough idea, as long as you weren't treating her like a chat line.

Yes, I'd find the lack of communication alarming. Even if it was only to mention when she'll reach out, and that she'll 'talk then'. Good luck, and I hope it works out! 🤞

Her most recent email to me said, "I will send you location details once I confirm which location I can use," which I would assume she would have figured out prior to the day before (it's now about 20 hours before our appointment time). Since she said Allegra's locations are in "various parts of the city," I need to know whether I'm going to the east end, west end, downtown, North York, etc, since that will affect how early I leave my house tomorrow morning.

It was also odd to me because her most recent email asked me about whether I had any allergies, which I responded to and then asked my own question (about what snacks/treats she likes so I could bring some) and she did not respond at all to that (and still hasn't accepted the deposit). But she did say that she'd "booked me in" for the time tomorrow morning.

Also, she took about a week to respond to my initial email and then I needed to send her a follow up to get a response to the second one (setting a specific date and time). Not sure if this is just her communication style or what's going on.

God only knows, though you'd think a bit more hand holding for a new client would be something she'd do even if she doesn't want super long exchanges. Hopefully it's just a case of her not staying on top of her work mail all that well.

She did provide guidance, but even if she wanted to minimize chatter (fair enough) this doesn't seem like a great way to do it for this reason.

With the agency she is using, it would make sense that she doesn’t know location but I would assume by now she would have confirmed it with them.

As for not returning your emails - could just be bad administration. Not all escorts are good at the admin part but great in the service of the bedroom. It is just how it goes

She seems responsible though. Not accepting your deposit until she has everything properly in order.

For me, because I have a permanent location I can give general area. When I was touring, if I used the same hotel all the time, I could give general location but for places where I had a couple of hotels that I used, it would be the same thing - I couldn't give location details until I had the hotel booked. It was usually a few days before the trip but again, she is dealing with an agency that has many other girls who are also looking for locations around the same time and they are getting deposits or confirmation from their clients which can take longer then what you did.

I hope it works out for you, but I think you just have to wait until tomorrow and get location when you do the day of confirmation call.

Thanks for this. I would really hope that she does have the incall booked by now, especially since I emailed her in December to set this up (with the intention that she would have lots of time to plan and get things sorted). And if she doesn’t have it booked by now, it would have been courteous to at least respond to my email from yesterday saying that she isn’t sure the location yet but will let me know soon, rather than just not responding.

At what point should I assume the session just isn’t going to happen? Is it likely that she will respond to my emails and provide me with a confirmation in the morning when the session itself is supposed to be in the morning?

Honestly I would have thought by this evening there would be a response. Has she told you to confirm by a certain time tomorrow morning?

For Prebookings I always have the client confirm by 2 hrs before their appointment. Most escorts have a morning rule so by 8/9/10am even if the appointment is in the evening. So did she give you a time to confirm by for tomorrow?

If she never accepted the deposit, I would just cancel it and move on. Maybe you are blocked, maybe she doesn't want to see you anymore or maybe she just has other engagement and did not came back to you. Pretty sure it's not too late to find a great plan B. Too bad tho, sorry this happened to you.

She didn’t give me a time to confirm by tomorrow; she only said she would be in touch when she confirmed the location and then she was never in touch. But she did tell me she’d held the time for me and that the session was confirmed. This was almost two weeks ago.

I have to agree with Josephine here. I would cancel the EMT and look for a plan B.
