Three weeks ago I booked an appointment with a provider which is to take place tomorrow morning. (Found the provider on Tryst, she's well reviewed on terb, definitely not a scam.) The provider said she uses Allegra's incall spaces and would get back to me to let me know the exact location, since she would have to see which ones are available. She said my appointment was confirmed and requested the deposit, which I sent via e-transfer. She has not accepted the e-transfer yet.
I sent her an email about a week ago asking whether she'd received the deposit and whether she knew which part of the city she'd be in so I could plan my day; I also asked what some of her favourite snacks/treats were, since I was intending to bring a small gift (this info isn't available on her website, and she doesn't have Throne or another wish list). I received no response to that email.
I sent another email yesterday asking whether our appointment was going ahead on Saturday; still have received no response.
Is it normal not to get confirmation of appointment/location until the day of? I've never had this experience with a provider before; normally they provide at least general location info promptly, and normally if I send a deposit via e-transfer, they confirm receipt.
(Also the provider in question has been active on Twitter over the past few days and doesn't seem to be ill, injured, on vacation, anything like that.)
