Your thread concerning BBBJTC has really sparked a lot of interest. I don't think you should have to worry about taking a bus.
If I was your boyfriend, I would be more like Budget Car and Truck Rentals and guarantee to pick you up. Especially knowing that you would be more than willing to return the favour in the comfort and warmth of my home.

Without knowing the whole conversation I cannot comment further but the question "did you go"? is a valid one. One could turn this around and say "if you love him you would have went...".
One could also ask the question "what's wrong with women these days"?
Here's some of my recent experiences:
1) I call up a female aquaintance and ask her out, she tells me to pick her up at 9:30, go to her place no answer at the door, phone or anything, wait 45 minutes then go home
2) Make a date with another woman, make a date for saturday, call to confirm earlier in the day, no answer, call at the time I was supposed to pick her up, no answer. Get call next day: Sorry I forgot
3) Make a date with the same woman, she calls to confirm 1 1/2 hrs before, says she's running late, tells me to call at 6. I call, no answer, I was supposed to pick her up at 9 she calls at 8 saying she's going into the shower, she'll call at 8:30 and I should pick her up at 9, no call at 8:30, no answer at 9 , call at 10, no answer. Receive call at 12 (7 hrs late) sorry, I fell asleep after the shower.
4) Meet a girl online, we chat for a month, make a date to meet, talk the evening before our date, she bitches about the shitty date she had the previous saturday with some other guy, because of this shitty date she breaks the date with me.
5) Make plans to see another woman from the net, on New Year's Eve, we talk on the phone for a month, everythng's good. Talk at 6 NYE, everythings good, at 10:30 pm she calls and cancels.
