Well Toronto has been both good and bad. I am not sure if there is a section here to report the asshole who ripped me off? What was he thinking when I have his phone number and name? I am trying to decide how to handle this. What would you do? I am thinking just let it go and karma will eventually take care of him all on its own. Share your thoughts….

How did he rip you off exactly?
Depending on what he did and how he did it....you might have different options on how to respond or retaliate....

you could have him beat to a pulp.. you could just join a bad client alert group and share and protect your self and others from this guy. or you could leave it be and be glad that you did not get hurt.... if you can protect your self and maybe help others than that might be your best choice... good luck with it....

Whether you decide to do something or accept your losses (and move on) don't rely on karma. Trust me it does not exist. Relying on karma, you don't really get any closure.

Whawhawha and elmufdvr I can’t have him beaten cause I don’t know anyone who does that and I wouldn’t want to end up in jail if I was ever caught being involved with something like that. I am not a criminal. If he needs to rip off sp’s then he needs the money worse then me it just gets me because if he would have asked I would have gladly helped him but stealing is wrong.

I don’t really want to get into details but I will say this there is no other side of the story. We had a wonderful session and he even stayed longer then he paid for as I am not a clock watcher. He paid for an hr and stayed 2 ½. We had a very good time. The last ½ hr we were sitting chatting and laughing on the couch everything seemed cool. I got up to go to the washroom, closed the door, was in there maybe less then 3 minutes long enough to pee and wash my hands and came out he was gone and so was about a grand in cash which was in my suitcase tucked away so he just hit it lucky and opened the suitcase that had the money. There were 3 suitcases side by side. Since I was surprised to see him gone I popped my head out the door just in time to see the elevator door close. I thought it was strange he would leave without saying goodbye. I grabbed my robe and I saw the suitcase now had clothes hanging out of it when previously before our session it was nice and neat and I immediately thought no way he wouldn’t have taken anything. How did he know the money was in that suitcase? He just got lucky. I don’t usually keep a lot of cash on me so for those of you who think that was foolish all I can say is we don’t live in a perfect world. When traveling it can be hard to get to banks or to even know where they are. I called him on his cell and he denied everything.

vivalapanocha you are right I am not going to go to the police and say I am an escort and was just robbed. Especially now that time has gone by as they will ask why I didn’t report it right away. If it ever happens again I will definitely consider calling the police.

Papasmerf and rgkv that is the only story! There can’t really be another side in something like this. His side is his phone rang so he left and denied taking anything yet when we were sitting on the couch before I went pee the suitcases still had clothes in them. Most people would say goodbye before leaving especially after a great session.

I can just let it go but if you are reading this you rip off guy you should know what you did was very wrong and from now on I guess I pee with the door open!

I know it's closing the barn door after the horse has bolted but I have a couple of suggestions.

I believe most hotels have safes that guests can have stuff locked up in.

If I had a grand in cash I wouldn't leave it alone in a room with a stranger even if it was hidden, I'd be taking it with me. But I don't trust people very much <grin>

Sorry to hear about your bad luck.

I wouldn't say it doesn't exist. I've seen lots of people do shit that comes back to bite them in the ass.

not sure if I really believe so much in karma, as in you're gonna come back as a rat or something. I do believe what goes around does come around. People that do shit like that are not going to change their ways, and I've seen it happen time and again that they get what they dish out eventually.

I know that doesn't help Sexy-girl much , but who knows , maybe you'll get lucky and see him on tv getting busted for something. I'm sure that would just make your day.

You can blame me all you want for having money in my suitcase but what he did was wrong. It is not like I left the cash out in the open. You are not supposed to leave cash in a safe either! It would be worse to have that cash on me and take it with me to the bathroom as then it would draw attention to the fact that I had something to hide. When we are in bed I can’t hold my cash that is why I tucked it away in the suitcase.

I wasn't blaming you for your actions in any way Sexy-girl. I'm sorry if it came across that way to you in my post. Yes the guy is a low-life scum for what he did.

Unfortunately thieves know where people are most likely to stash their valuables, be it at home or in a hotel. I would be willing to bet "in the suitcase" would be the prime location for away, much as the underwear drawer at home is one of the first places thieves look in the bedroom.

Why aren't you supposed to put cash in a safe? Isn't that the point of having a safe?

A third option occurred to me as I write this. Buy a firebox (much stronger than a cashbox), a length of strong chain and a padlock that fits the chain. Put money in box and chain it to something strong (bedframe, pipe).

Hotel safes are not foolproof. Staff often given combo/master key for maintainence.
If I read your post correctly you are saying that the staff could get into the safe using a master key. While that is true, what we are discussing is ways to make the lady's money safe while she is entertaining a client, not while the room is vacant. Even in that case I would still say it would be safer to have your stuff in the safe rather than a suitcase. A larcenous staff member MIGHT have the safe key but they DEFINITELY have your room key.

As far as karma goes I do not think his name was Earl.
I guess it is live and learn try to keep you funds in a safer place or better places.
It is surprising what some people try and get away with.
I thought it was cleaver when I saw some one using a mail slot into another locked room possibly into a bolted down safe. Try to remove it from the safe frequently and only have as much as you can afford to loose on hand
