On my user account of my computer(s), laptop(s), and phone(s) I use a macro shot of some wildflowers against a backdrop of building with a heavily saturated paint job. It lets me know I'm in my personal account.

I've gone through various phases over the years. In high school I was into repeating tiled patterns. In university I used rap or wrestling logos. After that I downloaded backgrounds from sci-fi/fantasy movie websites (Spider-Man, LOTR, etc). Then I got boring and used the built in Windows backgrounds, now it's just all black.

I do this on my phone. I've taken several 360° photos on vacations and downloaded others from places I've been. I have a live wallpaper on Android that uses these as the background. When I swipe side to side on the home screen, the image rotates and I get to remember the time I went to Rome or whatever.

A friend of mine is like that, it drives me crazy. lol He uses the default one and he has never changed it in his life. I think it's actually an OCD thing where he doesn't want to mess with his settings because "virus" or some crazy shit.
But he knows better than that. I offered him up to $50 to change it for one day and "nope".

This is more like me… If make changes, I’ll keep going until I achieve perfection which is impossible. It’ll consume time - especially as I don’t know what I’m doing. So I step back and tell myself that Microsoft knows best…. Don’t play with any settings.

The OP is an aircraft controller and their ugly wallpaper is making them not watch their screen.

They don't all have to serious threads. Fun or "just curious" threads are perfectly fine in the Lounge as well. There's nothing wrong with killing a little time, or seeing what other people think or like.
