Depending on the company you might not ever see him. Sometimes they even use cabs--in Niagara its like that sometimes I notice when I walk the lady out to her ride.

You are watching those moives with "pimps" :p Even when the lady had a pimp, I still gave her the cash. I never once gave my cash to a guy but have seen the lady hand the cash over afterwards but he was cool with her--and me, the cash was safer with him, thats all.

Transportation, security....in the case of a driver for an agency he sometimes is the middle man in money transfer - So a lady will complete a call, take her cut of the hourly fee and hand the rest to the driver to be given to the agency

This is something that has changed over the years. When I first started seeing SPs in the early 90s, the driver would usually come up to the room with the girl. He would then leave with the money. With one agency, when I'd open the door, only the driver would be standing there. He'd come in, take the money, count it, walk through the room to make sure I was alone, and leave. Only then would the girl come in. So the driver would be gone with the money before I ever even saw the girl!

But it's now been fifteen years since I've had the driver come to the room. In fact, I remember it was the day after the Habs last won the Stanley Cup.
