I couldn't find the original by Percy Faith, But Johnny Mathis does a good rendition.
This was my Mom's favourite Christmas song. I miss her.

Anything by Elvis.

I love the standards (Burl Ives, Bing, etc), but cannot stand all the new/pop versions of the old stuff.

Darlene Love doing "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) for the last time on David Letterman's show, Dec. 2014. It was an annual tradition on his show for many years.

Letterman used to say "It ain't Christmas until Darlene Love blows the roof off the joint!".

As it happens the song, with Darlene doing the original vocals, was on my favourite Christmas Album of all time... "A Christmas Gift For You", produced by Phil Spector and sung by the Crystals, Ronettes, Darlene Love, etc., and originally released in 1963.

Darlene was born in July, 1941. Can you believe the power in her voice even today??? She just released a new solo album a couple of months ago.

Coca Cola this year is using the same song in their movie trailer ads. Too bad they didn't or couldn't use the Darlene Love version.
