This version of "A Christmas Carol" from the 1970 film
"Scrooge" starring Albert Finney is one of the best IMO.

Um. The original animated Grinch. Hands down.

After that the original Miracle on 34th St.

And the 1951 Alister Sims A Christmas Carol.

I will also throw in Scrooged with Bill Murray.

The Alastair Sim version of "A Christmas Carol" is one of the
few movies widely recognized as an all time classic that I don't
get. My negative view of the film could have something to do
with my opinion that it is Albert Finney who delivered a better
portrayal of Ebenezer Scrooge in my own favourite version of
the Dickens classic. Sim was over-acting in the 1951 film and
even obnoxious at times IMO.

1. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (I never miss seeing this one)
2. A Christmas Story
3. A Christmas Carol (1951 version)
4. Elf
5. Scrooged

I didn't include Die Hard or Trading Places because they technically weren't Christmas themed movies. But both would be in my top 5 easy otherwise.

When I was a wee lad, I loved the old animated version of "The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe". The 2005 big studio remake, not so much.
