What is the cost of posting ads on CL?

Just wondering because its hilarious that there's so much E fighting going on that I start to wonder, "do they have to pay for every single ad posted or what?"

For example the asian ads.

No doubt the asian ads are scam as you can tell from the pictures that look unreal. But for each asian ad that is posted, there's a ad warning everyone that its a bait and switch scam.

So, im wondering do they both have to pay whatever the amount ($10 i think for escort section) each time they make a post? It looks like to me both parties are paying a steep cost in this E-war they are having lol.

There is no cost, there in lies the root of the problem anyone can post anything anytime, sure if your posts get flagged after a certain number of times your account is disabled so you just use a different email and phone number and away you go.

All you need is a phone number to confirm your email and account info.

The guy with the campaign against the asians is obviously a disgruntled customer dumb enough to have fallen for the obvious fake photos who is incapable of letting go and moving on. He's becoming more anoying than informative. But to each their own, I'm sure folks find my posts and diary anoying as well, the only difference is I have No need for retribution I just do it to ensure folks don't get scammed.

I also find the racial slurs in his posts offensive. I make fun of the fakers and scammers but I don't make comments about their racial background, that's just low.

Just a side note regarding the asian ads and the guy with the vendetta. He's generally correct in that MOST of the ads are B&S. However he doesn't care to verify his info and has incorrectly labeled some valid ads as B&S. If you email him you will get a bunch of stupid emails that only show how unbalanced this poor sucker is. He claims he is owed money by a guy who runs an asian B&S operation so he attacks all asian ads regardless if they are from the agency he has a beef with.

At first it seemed he was somewhat credible and amusing but he has proven to be nothing but an annoying nuisance. He had some run ins with PK too. What little credibility he had is gone and he is becoming increasingly irrational. Seems an implosion is imminent, perhaps we'll be reading about him in the Sun soon?
