Lost in a daydream of beautiful women.
After seeing a local legend posting tonight that she will be retiring (for good) after just coming out of retirement, it got me to thinking....What's the average length of an SP's career in the industry?

I know that it can be physically, mentally and emotionally taxing on someone, so I am curious. Guesses are welcome, but I would be more interested to hear from the women actually doing the work. They must have a more accurate idea, by talking to other girls throughout their careers.

Thanks

That's like asking 'how long is a piece of string!! It probably depends on the individual SP and whether their business is high milage or not. Also, what skills and education they have for future employment or running a business.

Many SPs are students who just want to earn money to cover their expenses for a few years...others just want to raise the funds to buy a home, start a business or travel...
Others are trapped into the business by pimps who take most of their money and they have no chance or prospect of breaking free due to lack of education and poor knowledge of English.

Then of course there are the street SPs who spend every dime on drugs etc.
For them it is a lifetime obligation.

However, if we are talking about strictly the 'high end' SPs I would guess 4-5 years....although a few lovely ladies may run a part-time SP service on the side for many years, seeing only a few regular clients each week/month.

Could be 10 years possibly 20.
The money is just good to give up.
See a select number of clients while persuing education, business and career paths.
If the substance abuse has no effects on mental or body and attraction.
Ladies could find a rich surgar daddy or two to share a open and understanding life. Remember the movie Pretty Woman, with Richard The Gere box.

This isn't an average but the longest duration I have personally come across is 14 years. She was new to the business when I first saw and then saw her on and off for the next 14 years before she retired.

LOL and you expect non-drunk Johns with an IQ over 60 to actually visit an SP that has been in the business for 20 years?

I'm saying that I would NEVER visit an SP that has 20 years working as one, are you freaking kidding me, that means she's 50 years old.
You only see SPs who are 30 YO or over!

BTW, I know lots of MILF and GILF over 50, your perspective changes when you are in that age bracket yourself. As for the original question - find some "average SPs" and ask them!

Anywhere from 2 months to 3 years I would say on average. Some might stay a couple of weeks only, others might stay 5-10 years or longer, but I'd say imho a good average is between 2 months and 3 years.

What are the odds that a SP can have a prolonged career without contracting some kind of STD? It's such a high-risk industry / career!

IMHO as well as in my experience, the average SP dabbles in the industry for a long time.
Whenever the situation calls for some extra money, personal gratification, ego boost, ect. and since we are already able to associate a pricetag on ourselves, grabbing the odd visitor is just too easy.
To the fool that said they would never see someone with that many years in the industry, you made me literally laugh out loud.
Odds are, if your provider is over 26, she's already had 10 years experience in one form or another.
Unfortunately, most females involved in the sex trade, whether it's one arena or another, have been made to view their bodies differently, usually at a very young age and so putting a price on certain things is easier than for others.
I"m certainly not saying this applies to everyone involved in the industry, just as a disclaimer.

So, even if one has dabbled in the industry for decades, this does not mean they've been putting out 5 a day, everyday..it just means that at certain times in our lives (finishing a University degree, moving, poverty, hedonism, just plain horny or lonely), we have no qualms with doing what it takes to fulfill those needs and wants.
Just my 8 cents.
