What is LOVE.... sigh...

Ok there have been countless books, poems, articles and cute wall plaques that could put a diabetic into shock.

What I am looking for is stories about the silly, weird,maybe sad or goofy stuff that said-
"Hmmm she REALLY loves me" or "Geez, I cant believe I felt that way or did THAT for her".

A)
An ex had simple approach to washing clothes and drycleaning- toss it in the closet until the floor starts to sag.
Once when she was away, I asked a friend of hers to show me how to sort the laundry from the drycleaning, and how to sort the wash loads. Then I did it all.

B)
One day, I thought another ex was dead. It was the happiest, giddiest most wonderful day of my life- she was alive.

In todays Generation, there is no such thing as pure love. People get themselves involved for all types of reasons:

Money, Security, Personal Gain, Convienience, Status, whatever.....

..........but never just for pure love anymore. It's a sad time we live in!

Slowwwly, over a disgusting long period of time. She was actually quite conventional, but, if she was getting extra it would have been at her realty open houses.

BTW- There were no men hiding UNDER the pile (I checked)

There always has been 'pure' love, but that has nothing to do with how I started the thread. Its whatever y'all think it is/was and the interesting stories there might be.

Today's generation is no different than the 1,000 before. Money, security, gain etc. have always been reasons for people to get involved. AND, sometimes these factors still lead to loving relationships, while some mad passions dry up and blow away.

What love is or is not is as individual as every relationship-but its based on trust, security,and stubborness.
I beleive it takes a degree of stubborness to stay in a realtionship today and to say Im not leaving even if it isnt quite right at "This Moment" Ill stay and see if I can get to that place.
Its not just about romance--men and women have different view of what romance is.
