I had a couple of questions about the legality of services offered. We have had a few requests to perform strip shows in Toronto. I want to make sure about what is allowed and what is not by law.
I assume that if the strippers are performing in a private apartment then full nudity is fine. What about a private room booked in a licensed establishment/bar? I have been told that licensed establishments which are not designated as strip clubs are not allowed to have shows with full nudity, even if there is a separate private room booked for that purpose.
Then what is the solution for an office that wants to book us for a party? How do they suceed in hiring strippers to do nudity, and also allow customers to buy alcohol without breaking the law.
