+ 1 ....Some people walk around with a coffee,I walk around with a coke.I'm a coke addict.
I've been drinking it as long as I can remember.
I don't do the extreme quantities but do have anywhere from 1-3 sometimes 4 a day.
I have all my own teeth, could stand to lose a few pounds like most in my 50s age group.
All my regular health tests come back normal including for diabetes.
No raging ulcers or other stomach issues. Actually the acids in our stomachs make those in coke trivial. What do you think breaks down that tough steak in your digestive tract?
Would I be that much healthier if I didn't have a couple cokes a day? Who knows?
Most things in moderation EH?
Nothing like a tall glass of ice cold coke poured slowly over crushed ice on a hot day or with a take your breath away hot chilly
LOL.
I love how videos show what Coke does to things.
What boneheads don't realize (not aimed at OP) is that anything highly acidic will do the same thing. Soak something in lemon or orange juice and it'll eat away at it. Soaking anything for ages will rot something. People can drink highly acidic drinks no problem because the drink is on your teeth for a short amount of time, and then your spit neutralizes it. And assuming someone brushes their teeth a few times a day, that's all you need to keep decent teeth.
People have no problem using vinegar on food, yet people also use it as a household cleaner which kill germs. And best of all, watch that old Mythbusters clip where they compared different chemicals to see which one eats away at metal the best...... the winner? Tortilla chip salsa. Tomatoes are very acidic when made into paste/salsa. And combined with all the salt and other crap they put in it, it ate at the metal better than corrosive chemicals.
Your fingers will look like that from water to.Coke also has dihydrogen monoxide in it! LOOK what dihydrogen monoxide alone does to human fingers after soaking for as little as 15 minutes!!!

Dihydrogen Monoxide (DHMO) is a colorless and odorless chemical compound, also referred to by some as Dihydrogen Oxide, Hydrogen Hydroxide, Hydronium Hydroxide, or simply Hydric acid. Its basis is the highly reactive hydroxyl radical, a species shown to mutate DNA, denature proteins, disrupt cell membranes, and chemically alter critical neurotransmitters. The atomic components of DHMO are found in a number of caustic, explosive and poisonous compounds such as Sulfuric Acid, Nitroglycerine and Ethyl Alcohol.

I am no doctor but I bet just as many people,if not more, get diabetes from alcohol as compared to sugary drinks .
Amen. Got idiot friends who keep posting that shit on their FB.LOL.

The funny thing about these kinds of videos is you'd think the people promoting it are all super fit people. But usually it's ignorant people who don't look at the bigger picture how science works. Things done in short spurts leads to much different results than prolonged exposure.Amen. Got idiot friends who keep posting that shit on their FB.
