What are your top 3 reasons for quitting the hobby?

Assuming that money, health or significant other are not an issue. What are your top reasons for putting this hobby away or at the very least in to moratorium for a while.

Well all three have played a part over the past nine years with SO being the number one reason. Over the last three years health would have kept me out if not for SO.

I haven't been very active the last couple of years due to lack of $$$. Once upon a time, I had a well-paying IT job with lots of overtime. The OT paid for my hobbying. Then my job got eliminated. I was then out of work for 9 months. For the next year and a half, I did some peice work here and there, but not enough to return to enjoy the finer things in life. I finally found another job but the pay is now about 1/2 of what I was making with no OT. It sure beat being unemployed and it now essentially pays the bills. So, when I do hobby nowadays I make sure that I make it worthwhile and unfortunately cannot afford to experiment or TOFTT.

Correct me if I am wrong, I believe shoeguy refers to health as personally healthy enough to hobby. He doesn't mention concerns over health risks.

Personally, I don't think I'll ever quit. I'll always go to strip joints, get the odd massage and also see about 5 prostitutes a year.

I like a variety, and I believe anything is fine in moderation.

Come to think of it. There have been times after a bad experience with an SP, where I have said to myself "Never again" or "I don't believe I paid for that." The kind of situations where I went ahead with the "transaction" thinking with my little head, instead of the big head. Anyhow, subsequent great sex with a great SP has a magical way of wiping out these bad memories.
