This is way too cool. Sports are a huge part of my life. Been on this hockey team for over 10 years now. We stunk for ages (stunk - NO it is not the Leafs – apology to you Leaf fans).
Only over the last 4 years, have we begun to win – with less talent and more grinders.
Recently we won our first Championship since about 12 years ago, so the cup was a huge thing.
I wanted to make this really special, so I borrowed it and took it for a trip to the best woman I know, my fave SP.
I felt kind of awkward asking her (talk about strange requests), but she took a drink from the cup, and made sure to leave lip stick marks on it.
The next day, when the guys were putting it on display, they saw the marks and just laughed – they knew I was doing something special with it.
And everytime I look at that cup now, I’m going to have a huge smile!
This lady knows she is my good luck charm, and I think it is so cool and sweet of her to go along with this. What a good sport! She is the MVP for sure.
